For My Dog
Which one of us does it hurt more? The dog, obviously, but it makes me feel better to think that it hurts me more.
This is more of a Facebook post than a poem, but since I’m not on Facebook anymore, you’ll have to come here to find my witticisms and pessimistic takes on dog ownership.
Here is a picture of my dog, Huey, sitting on the bookshelf next to my desk, from which he likes to look out the window.
